Machining Technology at HCC

The overall process of using SOLIDWORKS CAM for creating machining simulation consists of several steps:

    1. Create design model
    2. Choose NC machine and create stock
    3. Extract or identify machinable features
    4. Generate operation plan
    5. Generate toolpath
    6. Simulate toolpath
    7. Convert toolpath to G-code through a post processor
Here are some of the projects I have done from a text book "Machining Simulation Using SOLIDWORKS CAM 2020".
